This course trains designers how to quantify the carbon emissions associated with their building designs. What is known as embodied carbon, that is the carbon used to create our building materials, contributes around 11% of all global CO2 emissions. It is essential that we learn to understand where the hotspots are in the lifecycle of a building in order to address them.
