The aim of the programme is to offer new skills to industry professionals and graduates in creative media and construction sectors who are looking to further their capabilities in software and design techniques in the realm of virtual reality and 3D visualisation.
This course will be of interest to those wishing to expand their existing skills in 3D visualisation activities and build on their interest in 3D modelling and virtual environment building and optimisation.
On completion of the programme the learners will have gained valuable new workflows and software skills that will support their current professions while also leading to cutting edge and multidisciplinary collaborations which have the potential to enhance future client offerings across a multitude of industries.

Applicants will require a minimum Level 8 or equivalent.
OR
Applicants who do not meet these requirements but who are aged 23 and over will be considered for entry based on an interview.
Equivalence demonstrated by an appropriate qualification and significant relevant experience in a creative industry- Recognised Prior Learning
The blended learning format will include online lectures, and in person practical and digital training workshops to demonstrate the knowledge acquired, and a formal assessment. A minimum requirement of 8 hours contact time is required per week on average.
The following modules are delivered and run concurrently over one semester (15 weeks).
For both modules:
Online lecturers, tutorials, guest speakers and on-campus workshops will support learning while practical projects, their outputs and classroom collaboration and discussion will be continuously assessed prior to the delivery of the final project
